Co-Founder, Senior Advisor, Put Growth First

Rich is co-founder of Put Growth First and Senior Advisor. He’s also Managing Director of a Cleveland based wealth management practice.

He served as Senior Economic Advisor to 2012 presidential candidate Herman Cain and was chairman of the campaign’s Economic Policy Advisory Committee. He is the co-architect of the 9-9-9 Plan, and co-author of the book “999 An Army of Davids.”

He has appeared on Fox, CNN, CNBC, ABC, NBC and C-SPAN and has been interviewed by the Wall St. Journal, New York Times, various local newspapers, and both national and local radio programs.

He began his investment career in 1988 with McDonald & Company Investments as an analyst, and later led the firm’s Portfolio Strategies Group and chaired its Investment Policy Committee.

Over the years, he has served on several advisory boards, primarily relating to economic growth and inner-city education. He has served on the advisory board of the Ohio Chapter of American’s for Prosperity, the advisory board of EconomicsAmerica, the Corporate Visiting Committee of Case Western Reserve University, and the advisory boards of the Ginn Academy and the Ted Ginn Foundation.

Rich is an honors graduate of Case Western Reserve University with a degree in Accounting. He resides in Gates Mills, OH with his wife, Gina, and two daughters.
